The Coosa River Basin Initiative is a non-profit organization based in Rome, Georgia that provides recreational trips from our north Georgia rivers at a very reason- able price. Their focus is to provide education and help protect our waterways as millions of gallons are used every day, creating thousands of jobs and drinking water for thousands of folks living in our region. Getting involved can be a fun way to help the environment as you help make the rivers and streams clean and safe.
