What else will you find at the historic depot? As you walk in the door, one of the first things you will see is the gift shop hosted by the friendly staff. The Dalton Depot is also the location of the Convention and Visitor Bureau. At the visitor information center, there are more treasures to be found inside the depot of other local attractions for train lovers, and nearby things to add to your bucket list in north Georgia. They often have an exhibit on display at the depot, and often free to browse. If there is ever a fee, it will be very nominal. Who knows what exhibits will be on display throughout the year? However, observing trains and snapping a few keepsakes is free. Make all the pictures you wish.
